Job descriptions

About the Role
We are looking for a creative, adaptable, and trend-savvy Content Creator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be the visual and verbal voice of [Company Name] across our social media channels and digital platforms.

We aren’t looking for a Hollywood director; we are looking for a storyteller who understands the difference between content that looks “pretty” and content that actually converts and engages. If you live on TikTok, have an eye for aesthetics, and know how to write a caption that stops the scroll, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities
Content Production: Ideate, shoot, and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and static assets. You should be comfortable behind the camera—and occasionally in front of it.

Calendar Management: Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and industry trends.

Copywriting: Write clear, witty, and on-brand captions for social posts, as well as occasional blog posts or email newsletters.

Community Engagement: Actively monitor comments and DMs, engaging with our audience to build a loyal community.

Trend Spotting: Keep a pulse on emerging social media trends, audio, and memes, and adapt them quickly to fit our brand voice.

Basic Analytics: Review weekly performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR) to understand what is working and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.

The Portfolio: A portfolio or links to social handles (professional or personal) demonstrating your ability to create engaging content. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Video Skills: Strong proficiency in mobile video editing (CapCut, InShot) or desktop software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut). You know how to stitch, add text overlays, and sync audio effectively.

Design Skills: Proficiency in Canva is a must; experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator is a strong plus.

Writing: Excellent command of [Language], with the ability to switch between “professional” and “social native” tones.

Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines without micromanagement.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)
Experience with professional photography (DSLR/Mirrorless).

Knowledge of SEO best practices for YouTube or Blogs.

Experience engaging with influencers or coordinating UGC (User Generated Content) campaigns.

Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney) for brainstorming and workflow efficiency.

What We Offer
Competitive salary based on experience.

[List specific benefits: e.g., Health, Dental, Vision].

Flexible working hours / Hybrid work options.

The Gear: We provide [e.g., MacBook Pro, iPhone for shooting, or budget for equipment].

A collaborative environment where your creative ideas are actually heard and implemented.

How to Apply
Please submit your Resume and a link to your Portfolio/Work Samples. In your cover letter (or email), tell us about a brand you think is killing it on social media right now and why.
